Understanding Suicidal Feelings

The fact that you are here is a very good sign. It means that you are actively seeking solutions to your problems and taking the first steps to improve your coping strategies.

The most important tool you have in dealing with your feelings is giving yourself time. Give yourself a chance to implement some coping strategies. Allow yourself some time to put some distance between your feelings and your desire to act.

If you are in crisis right now, remember that these feelings are temporary. You're not alone - our volunteers are here to help.

You can also check out the information we've gathered for you here to help improve your ability to cope.

And remember, the best coping strategy is always communicating with another person. When you're ready, we're here 2 listen.
